The admin panel password is a critical security measure used to protect a router’s configuration settings. It prevents unauthorized users from modifying network settings, restricting access to only administrators.

How to Change the Admin Panel Password:
1. Access the Router Interface – Open a web browser and enter the router’s IP address (e.g., 192.168.1.1).
2. Log In with Default Credentials – Use the default username and password (commonly “admin” for both) provided by the manufacturer.
3. Navigate to Security Settings – Look for the “Admin” or “Management” section in the router settings.
4. Change the Password – Enter a strong, unique password and confirm the changes.
5. Save and Apply – Restart the router if required to ensure the new password takes effect.

Why Changing the Admin Password is Important?
• Prevents unauthorized access to router settings.
• Enhances network security by blocking hackers from altering configurations.
• Protects network devices from security breaches and malware attacks.

CCNA Training & Router Security:
• Learning router security best practices for securing enterprise networks.
• Configuring strong authentication methods to prevent network intrusions.
• Understanding role-based access control (RBAC) for managing administrator privileges.
